A small observation originating from a conversation about translating multicellular species to macroscopic species:

### On the setting of a 1cm size floor

From the discussion I have read, I am pretty sure that we’re talking about a floor on what size of organism we will be simulating at all. Given the simple fact that we would expect juveniles to be smaller than adults, that automatically puts the size floor on adults significantly _higher_. Assuming a juvenile of a quarter to a tenth of the adults size, that would mean the starting adult size is between 4 and 10 cm.

That does not really say anything about the mentioned technical reasons for having the 1 cm size floor, but it’s something to keep in mind.
