It would deffinitly help, one of youtuber I watch did the same, for thanking he was listing donor name in the end of the videos and not only he multiplied his donors but now he gets enough funding to just focus on youtube which nearly 20-50x more donations.
People really like to contribute, the feeling of “ I am the cool guy” is the main attraction of many, like it is the same feeling aswell that people donato to streams, while to be in the clips, videos and get conntact with those “stars”. It cost maybe so small for many people but the feeling they recive is to belong in a project is huge.
And fair amount you mentioned will be one time no ? I bet out of my lack of knowledge as a Cloud Administrator, we should only get a API which will pull the donators usernames list, and just in every releasing update the list ?
Not only donators should be rewarded this way, I think it would be cool idea reward donators more.
Like I wasn’t able to see no single section in the discord rewarding the booster by giving them a separate title.
Only part is I dont agree is the bigger the font is, I think it should be title sorted, bigger the package they have, they list topper then the other donators.
I think We should open a new board and discuss about this. It will really help I am %100 percent sure, in worse case you will lose coding power equavlent to 3-5 days maybe and comparison to thrives days without funding its not so much. Definitly worth to give a try.
