I have some proposals for the polishing

Oxygen Tolernace

To make it so that players have to take their organelles’ tolerances more into account I have two solutions, depending on which would be easier to implement:

  1. Increase the cost of oxygen slider tolerance linearly with higher tolerance, so each step costs X more MP maxing out at for example 80 MP at tolerance = 10%

  2. Cap the tolerance slider at 10-15%

Tweaking the organelles’ tolerances should also be considered.

BTW we might want to do something with the UV slider as well but that is harder topic as there is no easy solutions. At least I haven’t come up with any but I wish there was some.

Sulfur Damage

The addition of sulfur damage has been a very nice gameplay mechanic but it is underwheling because adding only one organelle totally nullifies it. My proposition would be to make it so that the sulfur metabolising organelles would increase the threshold of how much sulfur in the cell is toxic (for example 5/12 for prokaryotic/eukaryotic organelle).

Sulfur resistance might also be made it’s own tolerance. Maybe the one that is not editable but only displayed similarly like oxygen/UV
