There is this issue open on github:

It is basically about if we should switch the assets from svn to something else.

I don’t know of any other alternative that we could use. And as I said in that issue git LFS has some major restrictions which we might hit very soon and someone would have to pay for extra storage, so that basically rules it out.

If no one has any comments about this or possible alternatives I’ll close that issue at some point.

I’ll just close the issue as nothing better than svn has come up.
